Booking Terms

These Booking Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of my services and attendance at events organised by Jacqueline Peart (“I,” “me,” or “my”). By booking an event, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Terms

1.1. These Terms apply to all events, whether online or in-person, hosted by me.

1.2. By booking an event, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental/guardian consent if under 18.

2. Bookings

2.1. Bookings can be made via my website.

2.2. For paid events, full payment must be made at the time of booking.

2.3. Bookings for free events are subject to availability and may require registration.

2.4. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information provided during the booking process.

3. Online Events

3.1. Online events will be conducted via Zoom or an equivalent platform.

3.2. You are responsible for ensuring you have access to the necessary equipment and a stable internet connection.

3.3. Access details for online events will be provided via email prior to the event. Sharing access details with third parties is prohibited.

3.4. I am not liable for disruptions caused by technical issues on your end.

4. In-Person Events

4.1. In-person events will be held at the venue specified at the time of booking.

4.2. Attendees must comply with all venue rules and health and safety regulations.

4.3. I am not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings at the venue.

5. Cancellations by You

5.1. For paid events:

• Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event. 

5.2. For free events:

• Please inform me as soon as possible if you cannot attend so I may offer your place to others.

6. Cancellations or Changes by Me

6.1. I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events for reasons beyond my control, including but not limited to insufficient registrations, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

6.2. In the event of a cancellation by me:

• For paid events, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a rescheduled date.
• For free events, no compensation will be provided.

6.3. I will notify you of cancellations or changes as soon as possible.

7. Refund Policy

7.1. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may take up to 14 days to appear in your account.

7.2. Refunds for international attendees may be subject to currency exchange rates and transaction fees, which are not my responsibility.

8. International Attendees

8.1. Online events are accessible internationally unless stated otherwise.

8.2. You are responsible for ensuring the event complies with any legal requirements in your jurisdiction.

8.3. Event timings are listed in GMT and where possible your local time. It is your responsibility to check and/or convert timings to your local time zone.

9. Liability

9.1. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your attendance at or inability to attend an event.

9.2. My total liability in connection with a paid event shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking.

10. Privacy

10.1. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

10.2. By booking an event, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in my Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
